Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration as we mark the 25th anniversary of Cathy Freeman’s iconic gold medal win at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

This landmark event will inspire the next generation of athletes as Mackay’s primary and secondary school students take part in:
 4x100m Relay Challenge – One team of 4 (2 girls & 2 boys) per school.
 400m Races – One girl and one boy to represent each school.

 Cathy Freeman will be there on the day to present to the winners and celebrate the incredible talent of our region’s young athletes.

This event is proudly hosted at the Great Barrier Reef Arena as part of our journey towards Brisbane 2032, inspiring greatness every step of the way.
