January Project Update

January Project Update

The team are back on deck after the Christmas New Year break.

Design is still progressing, whilst on the ground, progress has been made on the piling platform and early civil works, with the driven piling works to commence next week.

The piling rig is due to arrive in Mackay Monday closely followed by the delivery of the pre-cast driven piles making their way up the Bruce Highway.

Electrical early works have also commenced with the relocation of the control box for the lighting tower to make way for the new concourse walkway.

Structural steel workshop drawings are underway with the larger roof beams already ordered due to long lead times.

We thank you for your patience and understanding in advance as we deliver this exciting infrastructure to the Mackay community. Stay tuned for more project updates throughout 2022.
